Awards will be July 22, 2021 from 5:30 – 7 pm with Writer’s Night following. Stop in to Mount Vernon Creates soon to vote for your favorite piece in the Portrayal of Mount Vernon art exhibit.

Awards sponsored by MVC and Mount Vernon Area Arts Council.

Awards to be announced at 6 pm.

Flowers and Friends Card Class by Barbara

Join us to make two cards and a treat box on Thursday, May 20 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.

Registration fee will be reimbursed by Barbara with a $25 order from Stampin Up!

Holiday Class – Create Holiday Tags, Gift bag and Gift box

In this class you will work with Barbara to create whimsical holiday gift tags, bags and a present box (gift card size) There is plenty of room to socially distance and mask wearing is enforced. Hand sanitizer is also provided.

Dec 12th from 1 – 3:30 at Mount Vernon Creates

Cost 25.00.

MVHS Fundraiser – Pottery

We still have a few pieces of the beautiful pottery by Bonnie Ahrens’. Bonnie is the art teacher at MVHS. Stop by to see it or you can order online. Proceeds go to the MVHS Art Program. These make beautiful gifts for that special someone.

Starving Artist Sale Dec 2019

Call to Artists:

Do you have some artwork collecting dust?  In a closet?  In a corner?

If you are looking to get rid of some artwork, prints, cards or pottery (excludes jewelry). this is a show for you.

These pieces need to be your original artwork or prints of your pieces.  All pieces need to be in perfect shape.

Pricing of these pieces needs to be 50.00 or less. (plus tax) Sales will go through the gallery system and payout will be at month end.
